The 2 Week Diet and Detox Plan

Melinda Rolf’s guide is a clearly-written, no-nonsense, no frills route to weight loss. She debunks the idea that health and fitness is all about diet and exercise, common concepts to all of us trying to lose weight. Instead, she outlines the many factors involved when it comes to weight loss, including increased metabolism, rate of digestion, and inflammation, which I hadn’t considered before. Rolf does an excellent job of outlining the complexity of body chemistry in a way that anyone can understand and apply to their own weight loss plan. Most of all, this information can be used to make long-lasting positive health changes. I highly recommend this valuable guide to anyone who has struggled with losing weight and not achieved the desired results. Rolf changes the game in this one. Five stars.

This is one heck of a thorough book!
If you're look for a book about detox and dieting...go no further.
Melinda's book breaks down everything you need to know, and explains it step-by-step.
This is a very easy to understand book, and I didn't have any troubles understanding what Melinda was saying, even though I don't know much about the health and dieting world.
This book is short enough that you can read it in a single sitting, yet thorough enough that it fully explains everything you need to understand.

Metabolism is King. Having issues with weight loss myself I bought this book to get a better understanding of this. Perhaps Dr's should actually read this book themselves. The common conception is that people who are overweight eat too much that is not always the case. This book goes into the reasons behind weight gain. I particularly liked the chapter on the metabolic basil rate and goes into depth about metabolism. Good find.
